CCS Mini Campers rocked it out during a halftime and the Homecoming pep rally. They learned a chant, cheer, and a dance. We want to thank the parents, the cheerleaders, and all the volunteers that helped with our 39 future eagle cheerleaders. It was a load of fun for everyone!
The Colbert County Cattleman’s Association partnered with Foodland to provide a beef grant to our culinary class. Ms. Stone and Mrs. Barnes attended the annual CCCA dinner to receive the grant. CCS alumni and now CCCA board member, Layla Wallace, was also present at the dinner.
After learning all about habitats, 2nd grade had some fun creating habitat dioramas. We had everything from polar to desert habitats. We are so proud of these awesome 2nd graders and their hard work.
Mrs. Stephanie Isbell spoke in chapel this week. She reminded us that God uses our story to help others and to draw them to Him. We also recognized our Students of the Month and Week.

Eagles kick off the week with a victory over a 6A team! With a score of 44 to 38, the Varsity Boys deposed Desoto Central of Southaven, MS. Way to go #CCSEagles
Progress… baseball lights are coming!
The Lady Eagles finished to a standing ovation last night. While they yielded in double overtime to Decatur Heritage by only 1 point, the score of 72 to 73 was a huge turn-around from the score in Decatur Heritage's home gym early in the season. We're so proud of our Lady Eagles!
While B team won't play tonight, they performed on the court last night! They turned the tables on Decatur Heritage with a 40 to 31 win after an early season loss on DH's home court. Way to go, B team Eagles!
B team game is canceled tonight. New games times announced! Girls play at 5 p.m., and Boys play after! Go #CCSEagles
Elementary Cheer Camp:
The B team game has been canceled. Therefore, the elementary girls who participated in the cheer camp will need to be in the gym at 4:30. They will need to be dressed in their black shorts and a ponytail. Mrs. Shawn will give them their t-shirts then. We apologize for any inconvenience.
