The K4 took an exciting scavenger hunt in our beautiful outdoor classroom looking for things in nature that God has given us.
Isaiah 40:8: The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.
The 5th graders have completed their rite of passage by participating in the annual Famous American Wax Museum. This project requires hard work and dedication to create and bring to life a famous American that the student is interested in learning more about.
Through this project they learn how to research, take notes, write a biography essay, do a timeline, make a brochure, write a speech, create an informational poster, and give a speech numerous times to about 100 students and parents.

CCS Field Day was fun-filled for all grade levels! The Lord held off the storms and a day of exciting competitive games gave us all something to take part in. Students, parents, and teachers participated in the tug of war competitions! It was such a wonderful day to fellowship, laugh, and enjoy being part of the Covenant family.
Parents for Covenant will always go the extra mile to make our teachers feel loved and appreciated. They made Teacher Appreciation Week extra special for us all. We are so blessed to have our Covenant parents and families! ❤️
It's always a yummy, enlightening and fun experience when the Latin class hosts the International banquet with international foods, and a costume contest! The homemade sushi and international delights were amazing, and students did an impressive job on academic presentations!

Eagle Run Teacher Staycation Competition!
The teacher who gets the most runners to register for the Eagle Run will win a 1 night stay and breakfast for 2 at Shoals Marriott.
Each teacher will have a runner page in the front office. After you register, be sure to stop by the office and add your name to only one teacher page. Teachers! Get kids and families signed up! Winner will be announced during awards on race day.

Our Junior DE Chemistry Class participated in the annual High School Chemistry Exam Competition sponsored by the Wilson Dam Section of the American Chemical Society.
Isaiah Patrick received the top score for Covenant Christian School, and was recognized at the 65th Annual Chemistry Awards Banquet at the University of North Alabama.
We appreciate our teachers, Mrs. Amy Burks and Mr. Brudgie Davis, for their hard work and dedication to our students' success.
We had several of our Covenant elementary students to run in the 18th annual Swampers Run. They all worked hard, ended with great times, and we had some who placed.

We also received 2nd place as a school, and was awarded a donation to give to the charity of our choice.
Shoutout to Ryan Huston, Class of 2022, for returning home from U of A to help with pacing. We appreciate him for always being an encouragement to our young runners.

Covenant Christian School is bringing back the Eagle Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. The Eagle Challenge is both the 5K and 1 Mile.
It is our privilege to host this running event for our community as an opportunity to come together and benefit Covenant Christian School.
Both races are certified and will begin and finish at Covenant Christian School.
The 5K will begin at 8AM on Saturday, May 20th and the Fun Run will begin at 9AM.
An award ceremony will follow the completion of the Fun Run.
5K awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age category.
All Fun Runners that cross the finish line will receive a medal.
The top male and female Fun Run finishers will be recognized.

First Year Track and Field Eagles are going to STATE! Kristen (100m, 300m hurdles, 400m), Adeline (400m, 800m), Zack (1600m) and the Girls Relay Team (Adeline, Pamelah, Saydee and Kristen) placed AND qualified! Several EAGLES medaled! Several EAGLES placed! Congratulations ALL!
Track & Field Sectionals in Winfield started today and Eagles are qualifying for State!
Kristen: 1st place in 400m and qualified for state and qualified for finals in 100m tomorrow;
Adeline: 2nd in 400m and qualified for state!
Due to baseball being in the playoffs today, the Prom schedule has changed. Prom attendees will eat dinner at 6:30pm followed by lead out at 7:30pm.
