When Parents are equipped with mindsets to facilitate learning, kids succeed. Research suggests that adult support and participation within their child’s school may be the single most important aspect of how children succeed in school and life. We welcome and encourage all parents, teachers, staff, grandparents, alumni, and students to consider volunteering on the various committees. Please prayerfully consider which committees you are interested in joining for the school year.

Faculty and Administration Appreciation Committee
  • Hosts Teacher Appreciation Week

  • Friday Teacher lunch program

  • Recognizes CCS Faculty and Administration birthdays on a quarterly basis

  • Creates and manages the CCS Faculty and Administration appreciation events and activities throughout the year.

  • Hosts a back to school CCS Faculty and Administration appreciation event.

  • Oversees "Teacher of the Year" program.

  • Maintains CCS Faculty and Administration members' Favorites Forms

Dr. Seuss Read Across America/Book Fair Committee
  • Responsible for communication to classrooms and parents

  • Book Fair breakfast

  • Coordinate Dr. Seuss week with a daily theme

  • Coordinate and staff with Library the activities, set up, and sales during Book Fair week

  • Coordinate with the Administration and Faculty regarding themes, dates, and services needed from PTF.

  • Decorate with the chosen theme in the school lobby and Elementary hallways.

  • Coordinate the Dr. Seuss Birthday Party Event.

  • Assist the CCS Librarian with working and scheduling volunteers for the Book Fair week. 

Loyalty/Fundraising Programs Committee
  • Generate new ideas for fundraising

  • Work closely with the CCS Administration for financial needs and purpose of fundraising goals

  • Strategically promotes Name Bubbles Lables, Campbell's Labels for Education, "Target" - Take Charge Education program, Publix's & Office Depot's Back to School program to the school community.

  • Oversees the Eagle Walk fundraising program (Brick Fundraiser)

  • Explores and recommends additional programs to promote and participate in to the PTF Executive Board.

  • Recruiter for coordinating bi-quarterly CCS dinner meetings.

Golden Eagle Club Committee
  • Open to Grandparents and "Grandfriends"

  • Hold quarterly meetings

  • Various activities and events throughout the year

  • Share wisdom and love for our grandchildren

  • Assist with Grandparents and Grandfriends Day

  • Grandparents in Prayer Program

Healthy Eagles Committee​

  • Serves the CCS faculty, administration, parents, and students by facilitating nutrition and wellness education

  • Builds enthusiasm among the CCS community about nutrient dense foods and exercise.

  • Coordinates and promotes the "CCS Community Garden".

  • Hosts events, including but not limited to, the Grow Stronger Serve Longer 5K, that graciously encourage and educate the school community.

  • Assists the Physical Education Coaches with the Elementary Field Day snack and events as requested.

High School Parent Coordinator
  • Ensures that high school level coordinators serve as social coordinators organizing a grade level social event throughout the school year.

  • Ensures that high school level coordinators educate and encourage parents to utilize the communications tools approved and utilized by the CCS Administration

  • Help support new families integration into the CCS community

  • Assists with the Junior/Senior Prom

Elementary Parent Coordinator
  • Recruits and trains volunteers to serve as Homeroom Parents in Elementary grades K3-5th.
  • Serves as resource to Homeroom Parents
  • Provides weekly reminders and announcements to Homeroom Parents
  • Presides over Homeroom Parents meetings.
  • Equips Homeroom Parents to support their class teacher.
  • Encourages Homeroom Parents to schedule social events for class students and parents throughout the year.
  • Ensures Homeroom Parents support new families' integration into the CCS community.
  • Meets with the CCS Elementary School Principal to assign Homeroom Moms to appropriate classes.
  • Coordinates volunteers for the Teacher's Friday Lunch Program. (First and last Friday of each month)
Middle School Parent Coordinator
  • Email grade level teachers to introduce self as a PTF contact and to offer PTF support and prayer.

  • Serve as social coordinators for a grade level social event before the new school year.  (Parent Orientation Event)

  • Educate and encourage parents to utilize the communications tools approved and utilized by the CCS Administration.

  • Support new families' integration into the CCS community.

Fundraising Committee

  •  Gingerbread Shoppe: Create a Christmas shop for elementary and middle school students

  •  Research and recommend PTF Fundraisers to PTF as a whole

  •  Manage and direct PTF’s role in Eagle Day
